What is Awe-Inspiring Wellness and Wholeness? It is a completion. What is completion? It is the action or process of finishing something. There is no completion without Shalom. What is shalom? It is a lot more than hello and good-bye. It is a Hebrew word with many meanings, click here. It is a manifestation of God’s Divine Grace. God’s Power! God’s Blessings! The Bible speaks about the power of manifestation and How it can be used to achieve one’s goals.
The definitions of wellness, well-being, and wholeness point to a multifaceted understanding of wellness: Wellness is where the Spirit, the mind, and the body work together to achieve good health. Your Spirit, mind, and body were created to be in sync; and when they are, you are closer to true wellness. When broken pieces occur in your Spirit, mind, or body there is no whole. Wellness means “wholeness” which consist of “lacking nothing essential” and “having good health.” Well-being means quality of life. Every aspect of you life influences your well-being.
To achieve wholeness you must pursue mental, emotional, and physical health. They are beneficial to your well-being. Wellness is defined by The National Institute of Wellness (NIW) as; Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices toward, a more successful existence.” It’s an active process – which means it takes time and intentionality.
The biblical idea of shalom grounds ALL of these pursuits in God. It is God’s will for all broken-pieces to become whole for your wellness and well-being, and is God’s call to pursue such well-being as individuals and as communities.

Health and wellness do not come by wishful thinking. Achieving shalom is ongoing. When you see your goal as a journey to shalom and determine that you will take intentional steps to get there, you will be far more successful with your goals of health and wellness. It is an ongoing journey that requires devoted decisions, prayers, and intentions. Health means absence of disease, both physical and mental diseases. Wellness is the state of living a healthy lifestyle.

Your endeavor of shalom is ultimately a Spiritual Walk with God. When you start with faith; with the belief that God created us to be well with ourselves and with others you see the whole view of what a life of shalom is like. Mark 10:27 For with God all things are possible.
Those who live with chronic illness can live in God’s shalom as well. As you pursue shalom, in all the conditions and circumstances of our lives, you become witnesses to the world of the grace and power of God’s gift of shalom.
There is a continual process of finding meaning and purpose in life which contributes to wellness. This component of wellness may be found alone or within a community. Wellness is being related to the quality of life and life satisfaction.
Accomplishing wellness is a choice. Persistence is a Key Factor! It is defined as “continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.” You must consciously and actively pursue wellness in all forms: Spiritual health, physical health, mindfulness, fitness, happiness, purpose, relationships, and Community involvement. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous has helped persons and families achieve a complete, solid, and secure lifestyle.
