Sound Doctrine Impeccable Truth!
Sound doctrine is rooted in truth. It aligns with what has been, is, or will be the mind of Christ. No effort by evil forces can undermine it or prove it false.
In biblical terms, “sound” signifies being anchored in truth. It stands firm, strong, and valid. It remains solid and invincible, much like a sound argument or reasoning. Sound doctrine is unshakeable and resilient.
Sound doctrine is God’s Own Words that narrates a single story that sweeps through all of Scripture, Genesis to Revelation. Combines a number of things into a coherent whole. All Scripture fits together as a marvelous unity because it consists of God’s Own Words, revealing God’s Own Thoughts and Acts.
Who Wrote The Sound Doctrine True Holy Bible?
Scripture says in 2 Peter 1:20-21, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
The Holy Spirit revealed to the prophets all messages of Scripture. The Bible’s authors wrote not from their own desires. They followed the guidance and direction of God’s Spirit. The Bible is God’s own book!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
What does God-breathed mean? It is the Greek word, Theopneustos, which means God spoke directly and filled the writers with an influence, feeling, and quality be present and apparent throughout them. God breathed the knowledge into the writer. Every word and thought was inspired by God. Their message came directly from God. The writers did nothing but write as the Holy Spirit dicated. This is Sound Doctrine.
Why Is God's Word Important?
The Word of God is infallible and inerrant. The word of God is Pure; Proverbs 30:5-6, God’s Word is 100% Authoritative; Psalms 119:89, and God’s Word accomplishes what it promises; Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The purpose of reading and/or teaching Bible Scriptures is to love God, and the only way to love God is to know God Personally. Sound doctrine tells us what God is like so that we may love him more and also is an important guard for interpreting Scripture. It helps us ensure that we confess and delight in all that Scripture teaches.
Sound doctrine is God’s roadmap
Sound teaching serves as God’s guide to a vibrant and fulfilling Christian life. It helps in creating a robust Church. The Church finds its unity through shared faith. What sound doctrine teaches is God’s Word for your purpose to live it out.
Sustains Holiness
God’s truth devotes you more completely to God in your desires, thoughts, actions, words, and attitudes, which is what the Bible calls “holiness.” Be Born-Again
Sound doctrine is the Truth of God's love
God’s word is grounded in truth? It is genuineness: the quality of truly being what something is said to be; authenticity, at which is true or in accordance with fact or reality. The Greek word for truth is aletheia, which means “hiding nothing.”
The apostle John once told a church that he loved them “in the truth,” and that all those who know the truth love them too, “because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever” 2 John 1:2-3. Truth is the basis of the special bond of love that ties Christians’ hearts together. And truth is the pattern of our love: we are to love one another in deed and truth, since that is how Jesus loved us;1 John 3:16–18.
Sound Doctrine Essential For Worship
Worship is our personal adoring response to who God is. Worship is rendering to the Lord for glory due his name. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; Ps. 29:2. Worship is not an ecstatic, contentless, emotional experience. Worship is your personal heartfelt response in word, song, and deed to God’s inherent worthiness, in order to magnify his glory.
If you do not know the truth about God, how can you worship him? True worship, Jesus said, is in Spirit and in truth; John 4:24.
Sound Doctrine Energizes
Sound Doctrine knowledge of God is what energizes, to make energetic, vigorous, and active, your worship. Praising God in song and prayer and living a life that brings him glory because he is holy, loving, just, powerful, sovereign, and good. Worship is your response to who God is and what he does. No sound doctrine, no worship.
