Meaning of Shalom

It instills in you completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord, and more. Shalom in Hebrew comes from the root verbs salam/salem/shalam meaning to be complete, perfect, and full.  Without Shalom, there can be no completion. Christians start living a Lifestyle of Peace through the Power of God. Shalom is a blessing, a manifestation of Divine grace.

Shalam Meaning

Shalam meaning: “Shalom” is taken from the root word shalam, which means, “to be safe in mind, body, or estate.”. It speaks of completeness, fullness, or a type of wholeness that encourages you to give back — to generously re-pay something good in some way. In Exodus 21-22, the word shalam is translated as “make it good”, “shall surely pay”, “make full restitution” or to “restore”. This Hebrew word shalam means “to make something whole”.

Power of Shalom - Supernatural Peace

What is the essence of the Bible? Answer: 2 Timothy 3:16. “All Scripture is God-breathed.” All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. The essence of the Bible brings Shalom.

God’s Essence is a creative power that mentally stimulates you with ingenuity, expressiveness, enthusiasm, accomplishment, and a Supernatural Influence With A Purpose!

In this world of chaos and instability, there is a peace that surpasses all human understanding – the supernatural power that God gives you through the Holy Spirit. God’s peace is offered in good times and bad. It is always there for the taking. The big question is, will we receive it with hearts wide open? Be Born-Again.

Once you receive Shalom and living its lifestyle you will never ever want to let it go.

The Truth of God’s Word! The Original Word of God Was Written In Greek and Hebrew

The New Strong’s Expanded Exhaustive Concordance has the original definitions of words in the Bible. The original Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. To obtain Shalom you must know, believe, trust and declare the Truth.
Example: Begotten, English: typically of a man, sometimes of a man and a woman bring (a child) into existence by the process of reproduction.

Greek; Only Begotten: The phrase “only begotten” translates the Greek word monogenes.
Monogenes has two primary definitions:
1. “pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship.”
Hebrews 11:17, Isaac as Abraham’s “only begotten son. Abraham had more than one son, but Isaac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Therefore, it is the uniqueness of Isaac among the other sons that allows for the use of monogenes in that context.

2. pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind. This is the meaning that is implied in John 3:16
We have to look at the original meaning of the Greek word, not transfer English meanings into the text.

False teachers have latched onto this phrase to try to prove their false teaching that Jesus Christ is not God; that Jesus is not equal in essence to God as the Second Person of the Trinity. They see the word “begotten” and say that Jesus is a created being because only someone who had a beginning in time can be “begotten

As it is written, For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; 1 Peter 4:17a. This book serves as a brief and prophetic guide for the Body of Christ to be spiritually challenged to examine themselves. The Lord desires His children to be watchful and ready for His return.

As it is written, Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. Rev 3:3c. And, For whom the Lord loves He chastens, Heb 12:6a.

In Revelation 5:5 Christ is the Lion from the tribe of Judah, who has conquered evil and is the only one found worthy to open the scrolls. The lion symbolizes Christ as king, the rightful ruler promised in Genesis 49:8-10.

God Blesses one’s body, mind, soul, and Spirit.

It stands for the fullness of life that God planned for every person. The man who finds shalom not only experiences it for himself, but also brings it to his world.

Come join the men who are finding their joy in life the way God planned it, In Search of Shalom

Shalom – The Bible’s Word for Salvation, Justice and Peace

Shalom love is suffering love because it is militant love struggling for human liberation, justice, salvation, and shalom, which is God’s will for our world.

The shalom maker, as a result, is involved in a mission of conversion–converting people to a new understanding and way of life. This conversion, based on God’s love for them in Jesus, frees them from old patterns of thought.

The biblical challenge of shalom is one which ought to draw all Christians together in a common struggle so that God’s will might be done and God’s kingdom might come on earth as it is in heaven. Converting people to a new understanding and way of life. Shalom – the Bible’s Word.

Shalom Multidimensional

Shalom could not be known or discovered without divine or supernatural instruction. Shalom is one of the key words and images for salvation in the Bible. The Hebrew word refers most to a person being uninjured and safe, whole and sound. In the New Testament, shalom is revealed as the reconciliation of all things to God through the work of Christ: “God was pleased . . . through (Christ) to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the Blood of Christ that was shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:19–20).

A Shalom experience is multidimensional, complete well-being, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual; it flows from all of one’s relationships being put right with God, within oneself, and with others.

God the Peacemaker: How Atonement Brings Shalom

In this book you will discover what peace (Shalom) is, and when this is done, we will understand how to achieve it truly, not superficially.

The contradiction to everything rational in the human mind is understandably perplexing-even offensive. In God the Peacemaker, Cole argues that shalom captures the true essence of the term “atonement” and that therefore standing as the central goal of Christ’s death was the atonement or reconciliation of Christ with all things.

Peace definition is “in which God’s authority and power over his created order are seen to dominate his relations with his world, including both the material and human spheres” God the Peacemaker.

Shalom Yesterday, Today, and Forever

Embracing All Three Dimensions of Creation and Redemption.

In the Bible the word shalom means much more than the absence of hostility–it means harmony and prosperity. Shalom refers to life as it was meant to be, as it should be, where sin is gone and love reigns. Readers will be informed as to how expansive the concept of shalom runs throughout Bible Scriptures and also encouraged and edified as they contemplate anew the Lord’s goodness in their life. Christian Living brings peace through the Power of God.

In this ebook, theologian Mark DeVine employs the well-known but little-studied Hebrew word to illuminate the three dimensions of relationship God the Creator designed human beings to enjoy: (1) the relationship between God and his people, (2) the relationship between God’s people as his children, and (3) the relationship between God and his people in the place, the home God made for them and made them for. DeVine gives special attention to the third dimension, the home God provides to his people.

When you speak the word shalom to others it is a mighty blessing on several levels! Proverbs 18:21 tells us there is life or death in the power of the tongue. Therefore, whenever you employ the word “shalom” you are speaking into someone’s life all the wonderful things that shalom means!
